Promoting the Battery Industry in the United Kingdom
The British Battery Industry Federation (BBIF) was formed in 2010 from the merger of the Society for the British Battery Industry and the Independent Battery Distributors Associations and represents the automotive and industrial
battery industry in the U.K.
Its members include automative and industrial battery manufacturers, importers, distributors, suppliers, and battery related companies and individuals.
The Federation is also a member of the Automotive Aftermarket Liaison Group.
This body which also includes the FER; GEA; GA; IAAF; IGA; NTDA; SMMT; SMTA; and the VBRA, meets to discuss items of interest to those involved in the UK independent automotive aftermarket and to pass on our views to manufacturers
and Government Departments. It also works with other bodies in Europe in helping influence proposed new Directives from Brussels.
